Join a Clan at the Arkansas Viking Thing

The Viking Clans of Dragonstone Springs are more than teams. They are families, alliances, and rivalries that carry forward year after year. During Arkansas Viking Thing, patrons can choose a clan to join, cheer for, and compete alongside, much like supporting a favorite sports team.

Each clan embodies a different Viking philosophy, strength, and way of life. Whether you are drawn to honor, cunning, unity, or conquest, there is a clan that will feel like home.

The Lore of the Frostbeard Clans

A Saga of Power, Loss, and Destiny

Jarl Una Frostbeard ruled her people with strength and wisdom, until one day she vanished into the wilderness in search of forbidden knowledge. In her absence, her eldest son Erik became Jarl Frostbeard. His discovery of the legendary Dragon Stone hurled him and his followers through time and space to Dragonstone Springs, where they founded Clan Ursal under the sigil of the Bear.

Back home, his sister Estrid ruled from behind stone walls, choosing patience and strategy over conquest. Her followers adopted the Wolf and became Clan Fenrir.

Meanwhile, the youngest sibling, Terguir, rejected restraint and declared himself Jarl. He led the fiercest and most impulsive Vikings into a life of plunder and feasting, claiming the Golden Boar and founding Clan Gullinbursti.

From these choices, rivalries were born.
